The US Tax year is from Jan 1 to Dec 31. If you're working out here or planning to, you'll likely need to file a US Tax return. However, we've found it is best to speak with an accountant who will understand your situation, and the US / Australian tax systems. A new way to travel around the Bay Area
While this doesn't relate specifically to Aussie expats, we think it's really cool! If you want to explore the surrounding areas (Tahoe, LA, or beyond!) and want an alternative to driving, check out BlackBird, a San Francisco based company.
